Anthony Diaz is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-10 156 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends Spanish River Community. Ran a 7.97 second 60 yard dash. A primary shortstop with a medium frame. In the infield he showed good hands with solid footwork working around the ball, arm strength showed developing with accurate throws across to first base. On the mound he showed a whippy arm action working to a three-quarters arm slot, the fastball sat 70-74 mph flashing cutting action when on top of the ball creating swings and misses. At the plate, his righthanded swing starts with an even stance, showed a simple swing path with intent to drive the ball and projects for more power moving forward with added strength.
