Miles Birke is a 2023 C/1B with a 5-10 208 lb. frame from Webster Groves, MO who attends Christian Brothers College. Recorded a 7.45 second 60 yard dash time. Medium frame with a thick and stocky build. Primary catcher that gets out of the crouch well with quick feet, gaining ground towards second base. Smooth and under control operation, strong lower half, accurate throws. Secondary first baseman, fields it out front with a long gather and throw. Some glove work present, clean funnel, some infield ability with the hands. Right-handed hitter with a lift and replace trigger and slightly open stance. Keeps hands close to the body and turns it hard, loud contact off the barrel with present bat speed. Aggressive swinger, gap to gap approach with lift, solid round overall. Excellent student.
