Freddy Flugger is a 2022 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Suffern, NY who attends Don Bosco Prep. Medium frame with slender, highly-projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.32 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with high back elbow set, toe tap trigger, incorporates lower half well and really rotates hips well through contact, consistently gets the barrel out front and impacts the ball, line drive swing plane, consistently squared up the ball on a line and projects really well for power. Worked out in the outfield, lines the ball up well and works through it, shows balance to actions, clocked up to 72 mph on throws. Also pitched, spine tilt over to get arm up to high slot, creates some plane down, fastball worked 67-72 mph with slight tail, also showed curveball with 1/7 shape and gradual depth. Good student.
