Quinton Moran is a 2025 3B/RHP, SS, IF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Westlake. Primary third base with an athletic build. Fields it cleanly with solid glovework. Brings it to his chest nicely for a quick transfer and release. Moves well laterally with quick feet. Works around the bell well and shuffles a bit during the gather and throw. Made throws with easy strength and accuracy behind them. Profiles well on the corner. Also roamed the outfield and works through the ball well with an athletic process. Made strong throws on a line. Ran a 7.50 sixty. Also pitched throwing from a high 3/4 slot with quick/loose arm. Smooth delivery starting on the edge of the rubber towards first base. Uses a high leg raise and works downhill quick getting good drive off his back leg while maintaining good balance. Shorter arm action to the plate but still gets good extension. Fastball had good late life through the zone and was located well. Sequenced well with a 12-6 curve that he threw whenever and wherever he pleased. Good depth and shape to the curve. Tough to differentiate between pitches throwing both from the same slot. Right-handed hitter who starts out slightly open with a balanced base. Uses a medium sized leg lift and stride for timing and weight transfer. Made loud pull side contact. Hands work well with easy strength and some quickness and showed good feel for the barrel. Ability to hit showed up in game action as well. Good student. Named to the top prospect list.
