Angel Santiago Velazquez is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-10 176 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Miami Sunset. Medium frame with solid build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.89 seconds. Coils deep into back hip to load at the plate, holds coil well and torques hips well into swing, turning barrel over and gains ground, flashes some impact to the pull-side. Worked out in the infield, presents hands early and shows solid actions to and through the ball, stays balanced in gather, clocked up to 90 mph across the diamond. Good student.
