Nathan Winterbottom is a 2025 1B/RHP with a 5-11 230 lb. frame from Egg Harbor City, NJ who attends Cedar Creek. Large, durable build with some present strength throughout his frame. Ran a 5.87-second forty time. Primary first basemen, proper, deliberate footwork with some stiffness is his hip. Accurate throws to the bases from a lower slot, up to 74 mph on his throws while continuing to develop arm strength. Secondary right-handed pitcher, working with a compact delivery that he repeats well at a quick tempo. Remains on line to the plate, could incorporate his lower half more to drive down the mound. Short arm action from a 3/4 slot. Worked fastball around the zone, sitting in the low-70s during his outing. Displayed feel for curveball with sharp, 11-5 shaped break. Right-handed hitter, balanced, slightly open stance with a high hand set. Compact, line-drive stroke when pull side impact when on time with his toe-tap tigger. Displayed some feel for the barrel and should continue to impact the ball well as he matures physically. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
