Ronan Kopp is a 2020 LHP/1B with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Scottsdale Christian Academy. Long and slender projectable athletic build. Works from a very extended high 3/4's arm stroke with a deep arm swing in back, creates ton of downhill plane to his pitches, pretty low effort through release. Low 90's fastball, topped out at 94 early, angle and extension make his fastball velocity play up. Not consistent with his breaking ball yet, best were on the harder sliders but flashed some depth with 1/7 shape on his curveball, developing change up. Has significant upside with his body, delivery and how easily his arm works. Good student, verbal commitment to Arizona State. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
