Zander Ditona is a 2022 C/MIF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Castro Valley, CA who attends Castro Valley. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.29 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with leg lift trigger, keeps front leg in the air, uncoils well and shows torque in lower half, swings with intent, direct hand path, solid barrel skills on linear plane. Worked out in a couple spots, graded out best behind the plate, low set with good hip flex, tends to pop straight up, shuffles into release, bounce to lower half, solid arm strength, clocked up to 72 mph on throws. Took infield reps as well, has actions in hands, solid first step to both sides, clocked up to 76 mph on throws across. Very good student.
