JT McArdle is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Auburn, AL who attends Auburn. Showed a very large frame with a strong, physical presence with a projectable build. Ran a 7.55 second sixty yard dash. Primary Righthanded pitcher working with a big, high leg kick that is quicker in pace then drives down. Showed a whippy arm action with a medium depth reach then delivered from a high three-quarter arm slot. Finished closed off during his delivery while throwing across his body by the slimmest of margins. Motion was not fluid but showed repeatable actions with a good feel for the zone as he worked both sides of the plate. His fastball showed heaviness in the upper-70's with a two seam as well in the low-70's that he had advanced feel. He kept hitters off balance with a nice slurvy curveball that he had command of. He projects very high off the mound with his frame and stature at a young age. Secondary Outfielder who read hops well off the bat working into a smooth transition with a quick release. Showed to be accurate at times as well. Righthanded hitter starting with a spread out stance with a closed front foot while flashing a bat wrap over the head. He used a toe tap and go trigger before striding out creating some signs of separation. With low hands, he also utilized an uphill swing plane looking to drive the baseball for power to the pull side. Great Student.
