Nate Taylor is a 2023 1B/3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Fort Lauderdale, FL who attends American Heritage. A primary first baseman with a durable build with strength present throughout his frame. Deep fielding funnel with clean glove actions. Showcased an idea of movements around the bag, deliberate footwork that could improve with more foot speed. Accurate throws to the bases, up to 72 mph with developing arm strength. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance with a high-hand set. Quick compact stroke with a leg-lift-trigger, remaining on time with the barrel. Strength translates well showcasing power to the pull side with the ability to shoot the ball to the gaps as well.
