Trenton Uyeda is a 2025 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Westview. Slender young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. 7.14 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder with smooth actions moving through the ball, stays balanced well and lets his hands work out front, arm stroke is loose and clean with lots of projection. Also played some outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from an open start with an unusual elbow load in back, short swing, gets the barrel out front well and can turn the barrel despite his lack of present strength, projects well as a hitter. Took a turn on the mound, has a long stride down the mound and a high 3/4's arm slot, hides the ball well. Threw lots of strikes with a fastball up to 78 mph. Nice young athlete who will improve as he gets stronger. Named to the Southern California Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
