Liam Critchett is a 2020 1B/3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Redondo Beach, CA who attends Redondo Union. Corner infielder with some projectable actions at both first and third base. Has a strong arm and works well through his throw at third base. At first base, the glove work is quick and efficient, has some flow with the baseball. At the plate, Critchett has an upright and slightly open stance from the left side. Has a medium leg lift trigger and high back elbow, as well as some linear shift into contact. Shows some present bat speed and strength, looking to drive the baseball with a naturally leveraged barrel plane. Shows the ability to drive the ball to the gaps with some especially good carry to the pull side. Athletic frame and build. Excellent student. Named to 2019 Sunshine West Showcase, Top Prospect List.
