Brady Lencz is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Annandale, VA who attends Woodson. Lean and long young build with plenty of room to fill out and get stronger. Short side step delivery with a quick turn, 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with good sinking life at the plate. Curveball was a solid second pitch with tight spin and depth and 1/7 shape. Works with a mature tempo and mixes his pitches well while showing command of both his pitches. Should be able to develop a solid change up given his present mechanics and feel for pitching. 7.10 runner in the sixty, was sound defensively at first base on defense. Left handed hitter, contact approach, gets the barrel out into the zone on time, hits to all fields. Good student.
