Matthew Gula is a 2022 SS/2B, 3B, IF, OF, UT with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Westwood. Primary SS, solid athletic build fits the part with smooth actions in the infield. Glove work is playable with a quick catch and release and easy arm action, he ranged well to both sides with excellent back hand play mechanics. Right-handed hitter, sprayed good contact around displaying some gap to gap power. More contact tool oriented, stays compact with a quick release and does a solid job connecting out front.
