2022 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Julian Terrazas is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Holly, CO who attends Holly. Strong and compact frame. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Primary outfielder, still developing outfield actions, has a tendency to let the ball come, worked through the ball with rough footwork and a quick transition. Consistently made accurate throws with occasional carry. From the mound, throws from a low three-quarter arm slot with a whippy finish. Worked with a quick tempo generating some swings and misses. The fastball sat 77-81 mph working best on the outer half of the plate. Mixed in a slurvy breaking ball that generated a lot of swings and misses to strike a few batters outs. At the plate, hits from an even base with a toe tap trigger, displayed a short compact swing with plus bat speed. Consistently made loud contact to the middle of the field on a line. Excellent student. Was named to the Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase Top Prospect list.
