Dylan Rorech is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Manhasset, NY who attends Friends Academy. Rorech did his damage exclusively from the mound, using a big downhill stride and high 3/4 slot to ramp the FB up to 81 mph. The lefty worked with great tempo and rhythm on the bump, pounding the zone with natural arm side run and dotting all four quadrants effectively and efficiently. Rorech mixed in a fading change around 72 mph as his main off speed pitch, tailing under the hands of hitters for swing and miss and weak contact. He also flashed a 12-6 breaker with late depth to it as a 3rd reliable pitch in the arsenal. Good student.
