Nate Kinsey is a 2022 C/3B with a 6-2 198 lb. frame from Middletown, PA who attends Bishop Mcdevitt. Large, athletic build with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, receives the ball cleanly out front, funnels into a longer arm action, over-the-top release point, can shorten release, gains ground with lower half, works on top of throws, accuracy when on top of throws. Switch-hitter, graded out best from the right side in this look; nice present bat speed and well timed. Consistent mechanics and shows a handle for the barrel, easy swing with line drive contact to the middle of the field. Balanced stance from the left side, occasionally gets to front side early, keeps hands back and shows looseness to them, gets uphill with path at times. Excellent student.
