Grant Hodge is a 2022 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Little Rock, AR who attends Little Rock Catholic. Medium to large build with room to still strengthen as he continues to develop. Primary pitcher, has a shorter arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Some deception to his cut off arm stroke, higher leg lift with some violence down the hill. Fastball up to 86 mph, locates well to all four quadrants. Mixes in an 11-to-5 shaped curveball with good depth. Developing bite and deception on the breaking ball, flashes late vertical break to the plate. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with a mid to high leg kick trigger. Pre-coiled hands, middle to pull side approach. Some whip through the zone thanks to the coil. At his best when working his hands to the inside half of the baseball. Great student in the classroom as well.
