Carson Carey is a 2022 C/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Bossier City, LA who attends Airline. Larger frame with an athletic, physically strong frame showing a sturdy lower half. Projectable build. Ran a 8.12 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher starting from a side saddle while receiving the baseball with soft hands. Spots up well. Quick transfers on throws downs with a clean arm action. Gains ground throwing downhill. Showcased a 2.07 second pop time. Righthanded hitter starting from a narrow stance with a closed off front foot. High hands working into a linear swing path with bat speed showing as plus. Pull-side power showing as he looks to lift the baseball when he gets extended. Projects well at the dish as he has strong hands and good feel for the barrel. Outstanding Student.
