Shane Newsome is a 2021 SS/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Holy Innocents Episcopal HS. Recorded a 7.13 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with some physicality present and room for more on the build. Primary shortstop with deliberate actions and arm strength recorded up to 79 mph across the diamond. Accurate throws with some range to either side. Righthanded hitter with a narrow stance, open start, and a big stride forward. Shows some bat speed and swings with intent. Line drive approach and set up. Gap to gap mentality and can impact the ball to both sides. Tremendous student.
