Parker Schell is a 2020 2B/RHP, 1B, MIF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Indian Springs. Long, slender build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.55 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary infielder. Flashed low out front funnels with confident glove actions fielding the baseball. Showed clean actions working to and through the baseball in the infield with a tendency to get off balance at times. Flashed good arm strength with accurate carry to the bases topping out at 74 MPH across the infield. Right handed hitter. Employs an even stance with a high hand set up and toe tap trigger. Really coils upper half at load while using rotational upper half mechanics. Displayed good barrel control creating consistent fly balls to the outfield. Also pitched at the event. Employs a small side step to belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing online with the plate and staying online with the plate through finish. Uses a long arm action with looseness going to a high three-quarter arm slot at release. Flashed a fastball with late arm side run up to 73 MPH complemented with a looser 11/5 curveball with good depth at 62 MPH. Excellent student.
