Eric Claudio jr is a 2020 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Timber Creek. Lean and athletic frame with lots of room to fill with growth. Ran a 7.02 second 60 yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, starts windup with a turn step up to a high leg lift, coils on back leg bending at waist on the top of his balance point, sits on back leg and drives to the plate with an online release, full arm action up to an extended 3/4 arm slot, throws with some effort and command. Mixes in a three pitch mix including a fastball with some armside life to the pitch up to 74 mph, developing spin to his 1-to-7 curveball in the low-60s, changeup has potential with some similar life to fastball. Also took reps in the outfield, athletic movements to and through the ball, fields the ball out in front, clean arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, topped out at 77 mph from the outfield. Lefthanded hitter, wide base and a leg lift trigger to start swing, inside hand path, could work on timing for more consistent results at the plate.
