Rowen Guerra is a 2020 SS/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Liberty Hill, TX who attends Liberty Hill HS. Medium frame with broad shoulders and strength throughout. Ran a 6.94 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary shortstop. Moves well with quick and athletic feet coming through the ball. Soft hands out front with a clean funnel to the body. Smooth and consistent transfer into a quick release. Present arm strength with accurate carry at 82 miles per hour. Also worked out from the outfield. Moves well with an aggressive close to the ball. Quickness to transfers with a compact action in the back. Gets on top well and makes accurate throws in topping out at 83 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a wide stance and high back elbow to start. Long path to the ball with a line drive plane through the zone. Middle of the field line drive contact off the barrel. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short and quick takeaway into an extended finish. Mostly pitches off a sharp 12-to-6 curveball with depth at the plate. Will add and subtract with the pitch and throw it in any count. Comes to the fastball at times and able to keep it away from the middle of the plate. Works towards weak contact and can create swing and miss early in counts. Good student as well.
