Carson Turnquist is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-5 213 lb. frame from Paso Robles, CA who attends Paso Robles HS. Extra large frame with very broad shoulders and a ton of room for physical projection. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Longer arm stroke through the back with plus arm speed. Works downhill and pounds the fastball down in the zone. Big plane with plus extension out in front. Athletic operation with physicality present. Firm changeup with a short curveball that shows good shape. Misses bats with the fastball and has all the ingredients to project on long term. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Oklahoma.
