Alex Rios is a 2019 2B/SS with a 5-7 133 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Beresford Burgan Mount Saint Michael Academy. Medium frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.70 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with hands set close to body, keeps hands locked to torso throughout swing and stays on compact path as a result, line drive plane, shows some ability to work to all fields. Worked out in the infield, shows good twitch to footwork, moves to ball well to both sides as well as in, reads hops well and shows soft hands, clocked up to 68 mph across the diamond.
