Mickal Betts is a 2021 3B/1B/OF with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Fayette HS. Compact and sturdy frame with some strength present. Ran a 7.81 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, took reps in the infield moving to the baseball with short steps, low effort action with young movements, shuffles into his release, loose arm into throws, developing arm strength that will improve with maturity at the position. Righthanded hitter, uses a stride into contact that is used for timing of the swing, shifts to his back side at load, could improve pop off of the barrel with proper refinement to his weight shift into contact, compact swing with developing bat speed, will improve with additional strength.
