Nolan Winfield is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Winterville, NC who attends D H Conley. A slender, long levered athlete with plenty of time to add strength and physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.77 seconds. Primary position SS, was very solid in his work with the glove and angles to the ball were on point. Has present arm strength, getting up to 79 mph on throws across the diamond. Was also very impressive in his comfort of throwing the ball from multiple angles with accuracy based on what the play demanded. RHH working from a straight stance and using good quiet mechanics. He showed a simple approach, creating backspin line drives gap to gap as he got the bat head in a good slot with regularity. RHP working with a full windup, belt high leg lift, slight pause at the top of balance and a nice short arm stroke. He comes almost over top with his arm angle and created a FB with velocity in the 73-78 mph range that had very good spin profile. With a little more energy out of his lower body you could easily see some low-80's coming out of him. Found better rhythm deeper into his outing and landed some nice CB in the low-70's with 12-6 shape, good depth and higher level spin rates. Also made his mid-70's CH a factor, tunneling it well with his FB. There is a lot to like about Winfield, he is a ballplayer that can do most anything on the field and do it well.

Right Handed Hitting
Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
