Patch Lyman is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Mountain Brook, AL who attends Mountain Brook HS. Recorded a 7.74 second 60-yard dash time. Good sized frame with a lean build and room to fill. Primary lefthanded pitcher who throws exclusively from the stretch. Controlled operation with a quick belt high leg lift. Balanced at the top and has a full arm circle through a three-quarters arm slot. Fluid delivery and arm action and the fastball topped out at 76 mph and comes out easy. Shows life to the arm side and curveball showed 1/7 shape with good spin and depth. Serious angle created and makes for a tough at-bat. Lefthanded hitter with a deep hand load, level swing plane, and balanced swing. Turns the bat over well with some bat speed. Contact oriented stroke and finds the barrel well. Tremendous student.
