Tyler Lang is a 2023 C/RHP/1B with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Chesterfield, MO who attends Parkway West. Compact catcher's build with some present strength for his age. 7.89 runner in the sixty. Sets up low behind the plate and has good lower half flexibility and loose hips, comes out of his crouch well with good quickness, clean and quick arm stroke, has athleticism behind the plate and will be solid defensively as he develops. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall open stance with good lower half shift into contact, has good barrel control with a line drive plane and a middle of the field approach, has some developing strength in his hands to create some jump off the barrel. Excellent student.
