Gavin Waits is a 2023 3B/RHP, SS, OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Fulshear, TX who attends Fulshear HS. Recorded a 6.93 second 60-yard dash time. Tall, athletic frame with broad shoulders and tons of room to fill. Fairly quick twitched prospect. Primary third baseman with long strides and an accurate arm across. Some lateral agility to either side and smoothness to footwork. Secondary outfielder who works through the ball well and has good arm strength recorded up to 85 mph into the infield. Fields off the side nicely with smoothness to the transfer. Righthanded hitter with a narrow stance and slightly open stance. High hand set, high back elbow, and some easy strength off the barrel. Downhill and a bit stiff at times. Low effort stroke with ease of effort through the finish. Has strength at contact and will continue to improve. Good student.
