Cooper Ray is a 2021 RHP/ with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Leesburg, GA who attends Lee County. Medium build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Pitcher only, has a long and loose arm action from a three-quarters slot. Free and easy thrower down the mound. Finds good extension out in front. Fastball up to 85 mph, finds some good arm side run on the pitch. Ability to make adjustments pitch to pitch. Mixes in an 11-to-5 shaped curveball with some slight horizontal bite and good depth. 73 mph off-speed pitch with some late fade. Competes well, some rawness to his profile with solid overall pitchability. Great student in the classroom as well.
