David Parker is a 2020 C with a 5-8 173 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Montverde Academy. Medium frame with solid build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.52 seconds. Hits from wide-based stance, shifts well into contact though tends to drift to front side at contact, gets barrel through the zone well, simple overall approach, hits the ball out front properly, shows strength when squared up, interesting overall hitting tools. Worked out behind the plate, receives well and shows quick transfer, could gain a bit more ground out but footwork is clean overall, quick release with good arm strength up to 75 mph, popped as low as 1.96 seconds. Very good student.
