Jacknier Martinez is a 2020 3B/MIF/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Home School. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.05 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, draws hands back into load, swing works well in upper half but could stand to get more out of lower half, good barrel skills, compact stroke with good barrel accuracy, repeats well, has strength, whole-field approach with consistent line drives. Primary infielder, moves well laterally, smoothness to footwork, fields cleanly and shows twitch, clocked up to 85 mph across the diamond. Also took outfield reps, full several-step load-up into throws, gets over front side well and has arm strength for sure, clocked up to 87 mph on throws. Very good student.
