Austin Bolding is a 2023 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Hardin Valley. High waisted slender athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, has a simple swing approach with a turned in front shoulder start, fluid and loose swing with some present bat speed and more to come, best when he's staying on top of the ball and not dipping into contact. 7.91 runner in the sixty, has very athletic footwork in the middle infield, stays balanced well with soft hands out front and a quick and compact release on his throws. Also pitched, simple and repeatable mechanics with good lower half drive to the plate. Mid-70's fastball with good sink and run to the plate, also threw a mid-60's curveball. Good student. Named to the Fall Gulf Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
