2004 National Academic Showcase
Bryan Lee is a 2005 outfielder from Boca Raton, FL, with good present strength. He took one of the best batting practices at the Academic Showcase, showing very good bat speed with some nice hand quickness and loft to his swing. Lee really crushed some balls and looked very comfortable doing it. During games he tightened up a bit and didn’t have the same type of success and contact. He’s worth following up on due to the talent he showed in BP, though. Lee also threw a couple of innings and threw 75-78 mph with a pretty decent cross fire slider from a low ¾’s release point. His bat might play at a very high level. Bryan is an excellent student.
