Adrian Velez is a 2022 OF/ with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Timber Creek. Ran a 7.04 second 60 yard dash that carried over to the games with an aggressive approach on the bases. A primary outfielder with an athletic frame works aggressively to and through the ball fielding it off his left foot and carrying his momentum into his throws, showed a full arm action getting on top of the ball with a high release and accurate throws. At the plate, his righthanded swing starts with a narrow base and slightly open stance, showed good control of the bat with an accurate barrel and quick hands, projects for more power with better use of the lower half and added strength to the frame. Very good student.
