Tony Becker is a 2018 RHP with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Saint Johns, FL who attends Creekside High School. Extra large frame, lean, slender build, square shoulders, long limbs, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Primary right handed pitcher, started with a higher leg lift past belt, slight hip turn, on-line landing, and threw from an extended three quarter arm slot. Showed very quick arm through release with slight effort. Fastball worked 81-86 mph and topped out at 87 mph. Fastball showed occasional arm side life down in the zone. Slider was best pitch with short bite and tight spin. Thrown up to 78 mph with swing and miss capabilities. Shorter stride down the mound with limited drive from lower half. Should incorporate lower half more. Named to Top Prospect List.
