Brandon Coakley is a 2024 C/MIF/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Covington, LA who attends Covington. Lean young athletic build with the beginnings of some strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from an open base with a hanging leg lift load, rotational swing with good lower half use, loose swing with good extension through the ball, showed the ability to lift the ball, projects plenty of power in the future. 7.26 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, arm strength is his best present tool, developing his lower half footwork and quickness into his throws and in his shifting. Also plays the outfield and infield. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
