Luke Pectol is a 2020 1B/OF with a 6-3 198 lb. frame from Little Rock, AR who attends Joe T. Robinson. Tall athletic well with room to get stronger. Outstanding runner for his size, 6.57 in the sixty, has very quick actions at first base, feet work well, plus arm strength across the diamond, extremely athletic at first base but no reason he can't be playing a more athletically demanding position. Left handed hitter, hits from a very wide base and tends to stay on his back side, has loose hands and creates some bat speed and extension, projects power, lots of offensive tools to develop. Very interesting young athlete with lots of potential with positional development and swing adjustments. Good student, verbal commitment to Kentucky.
