Candido Encarnacion is a 2017 SS/3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Canovanas, PR who attends Luis Hernaiz Verone. Medium athletic build. Switch-hitter, different approach from each side. Big leg raise hanging load from the right side, short swing from the right side with mid field line drive contact. Very open stance left handed with a rotational pull oriented swing, will open early from left side but has better raw bat speed. 7.07 runner, has a quick first step defensively and athletic actions, everything is smooth defensively with his hands and feet, looked especially good at third base but his arm strength plays all over the infield.
