Dominic Masino is a 2023 SS/IF with a 6-0 130 lb. frame from Bayville, NJ who attends Central Regional. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, takes shorter steps moving towards the ball, fields it out front and glove plays at the ball, funnels into body and works into a shorter arm action on throws, works around the bag with throws across diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide and even base with high hands and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing. Tends to get onto front side early with weight shift, contact oriented approach, line drive contact with developing strength at point of contact, showed comfort working to the middle and pull side parts of the field.
