Andrew An is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 6-0 179 lb. frame from Irvine, CA who attends Crean Lutheran. He ran a 7.27 second sixty. A primary third baseman with a average build with some length to fill out. On the infield he presents the glove well out front receiving the baseball as he carries his momentum into the throws with a longer gather, he showed good arm strength from multiple arm angles. On the mound he works with a slower pace and a longer clean arm action working to a high three-quarters slot, he keeps the fastball down in the zone at 82/83 mph when he gets out over the front side. The curveball lands for strikes a good bit with some later bite while the changeup lands for strikes to both halves in the upper 70's with good arm speed and slight fading action. Right-handed hitter, starts narrow with a hanging leg lift to trigger the swing, the hands work through the zone with good speed and intention and flashes of leverage at the point of contact.
