Ryan Mowad is a 2019 C with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Murrieta, CA who attends Murrieta Valley HS. Medium frame with a long build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Receives the ball out front with weight forward in stance. Gets the ball out of the glove quickly with a tight arm action. Gets on top of throws with accurate release topping out at 77 miles per hour and popping a 1.97 during workouts. Righthanded hitter with a spread stance and high hand and back elbow set. Quick hands through the zone with a leveraged swing. Works the middle of the field to the pull side with carry off the barrel. Good student as well.
