Brady Hartman is a 2021 SS/RHP, IF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Milan, IL who attends Sherrard. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Primary shortstop with with clean, active footwork while traveling to and rounding the baseball. Funnels out front well and worked through exchange efficiently. Released from a three-quarters arm slot creating accurate carry to the bag at 81 mph. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and sweeping front side trigger. Works to contact with linear lower half actions. Clean hand path to baseball with a level, line drive barrel plane through extension. Showed good balance throughout swing with present bat speed through the zone. Consistently generated sharper contact while utilizing a mid field approach. Also pitched utilizing a simple side step to medium leg lift delivery. Created slight coil over back side at gather and worked to the plate with tall and fall actions. Loose arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball clashed some downhill plane through the zone in the low to mid 70's, topped at 75 mph. Slider flashed tight spin with 9/4 shape and good horizontal break to glove side. Consistently looked to challenge hitters down in the zone. Good student as well.
