Amaury Telemaco Jr is a 2017 RHP/ with a 6-5 240 lb. frame from Smiths, AL who attends Glenwood School Inc. Extra large build and frame, strong lower half, long limbs, and good present strength. Primary right handed pitcher, showed good rhythm and tempo on the mound, high leg kick, short rocker step, and an online landing. Balanced with a quick arm action, compact arm circle, and threw from a tight three quarter arm slot. Fastball exploded out of hand with heavy life at 86-90 mph with occasional cut to the pitch. Showed control around the zone and flashed ability to create plane. Showed a curveball with 11/5 shape with good, tight spin and hard depth. Showed late break with downward action and got the pitch over for strikes. Would continue to improve with incorporation of a third pitch. Named to Top Prospect List.
