Bryce Thompson is a 2020 C/SS with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Jupiter, FL who attends Jupiter HS. Recorded a 7.49 second 60-yard dash time. Medium build with a younger frame and plenty of room to fill out. Primary catcher with arm strength up to 71 mph. Solid fundamental tools with a quick release from the position. Also worked out in the infield with a lower three-quarter arm slot. Ball comes out of the hand clean with accurate throws. Aggressive to the ball and releases quickly. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance. High hand set with a high back elbow. Level, even swing plane who can drive the ball to all fields. Coils inward upon load and uncoils well and on time. Can turn on the inside with an up the middle approach. Flashed the ability to turn the barrel over to the pull side. Good student.
