Ryan Ammons is a 2019 LHP/ with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Easley, SC who attends Wren High School. Medium frame that showed athleticism. Primary pitcher, shorter arm action through the back, square shoulders, has some looseness to the arm as well as quickness. Throws from a high three-quarter slot, leg lift up past the belt, threw exclusively out of the stretch, online delivery. Fastball has some life down in the zone, the fastball sat from 76-78 mph and topped out at 79 mph, generates extension out front, easy delivery, locates to glove side well. Delivery has balance and is repeatable, throws breaking ball for strikes, locates arm side well. Fastball has sink down in the zone, maintained arm action and slot on changeup, short fading life to changeup, slider is almost cutter-like. Good student
