Hudson Mimbs is a 2021 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Macon, GA who attends First Presbyterian Day. Large frame with an athletic build showing some fast twitch in his game. Ran a 7.19 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, working smoothly to and through the baseball as he shows good glove skills. Quick transfers with some whip to the arm as he threw it 89 mph across the diamond in drills. Great feel for the position as he shows body control with a strong arm to go with it. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch as he shows drop and drive mechanics. Fast arm as he delivers from a three-quarter slot. Gets extended as he finishes down the mound. Fastball up to to 88 mph with late life. Mixed in a nasty curveball with 10-to-4 movement that got swings and misses with some knee buckles as well. Projects on the mound. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with pinched knees working to a little leg lift and stride. Deep hands with some bat wrap before showing some bat speed. Pull side approach power showing as he found barrels consistently. Sprays the baseball around the park with ease. Outstanding Student. Named to PG Summer Main Event Top Prospect List.
