Bryce Henry is a 2019 IF/RHP/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Glen Carbon, IL who attends Edwardsville HS. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Ran a 7.31 sixty-yard dash. Primary infielder with sound footwork and flashed athleticism while on the move. Funnels out front well with clean glove actions and exchanges. Released from a compact three-quarters arm slot that produced accurate throws to the bag topping at 79 miles per hour. Also worked out defensively showing deliberate feet while funneling from a slightly deeper position. Smooth paced exchanges while working through transition and released from a three-quarters slot. Produced accurate throws with occasional carry to bag, topped at 73 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a spread, balanced stance and simple leg lift trigger. Creates some top half coil at load while lower half launches with rotational actions to contact. Primarily utilized a mid-field approach and generated good extension through the baseball. Consistently barreled up baseball throughout batting practice generating solid contact between the gaps. Also pitched showing an easy, smooth delivery. Deep arm stab back at separation and released from a high three-quarters arm slot, tends to lower arm angle to a traditional three-quarters slot at times as well. Fastball stayed fairly straight with occasional downhill angle. Topped at 79 miles per hour. Also flashed a curveball with loose spin and occasional depth when staying on top of offering and working down in the zone. Tools will continue to develop with physical maturity and repetition.
