Brian Scott is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Olney, MD who attends Sherwood. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hanging leg lift load, foot will be late getting down at times, has quick hands with some present bat speed and plenty more to come, best on pitches on the inside half, showed he could turn on the ball with hard line drive contact and some carry. 7.24 runner, showed nice young arm strength in the outfield with good carry, footwork through the ball is still developing. Also pitched, short side step delivery with a high leg swing out to his front side, long arm in back with a high 3/4's arm slot. Worked in the mid-70's with his fastball, mostly straight, also threw a soft curveball. Very good student.
